This blog will be dedicated to all of the best music around. Whether it be Zeppelin or today's rapidly growing dubstep culture, I aim to discover the stories behind the artists and their unique musical styles. Here on The Dark Side of The Moon all music is welcome and requests are always accepted.
I believe that music is one of the most powerful and beautiful things mankind has managed to develop. Over time the vast world of music has bloomed into a universal love that is unmatchable to anything else. Today's popular music has become increasingly more generic sounding and most of the time I'm disappointed with what I hear on the radio, but music is one of the few things I find easy to have faith in. Good music is still around and evolving and it isn't difficult to find with an open mind.
Another thing that intrigues me about music is how it fits in to different cultures. People who listen to country music have their culture, those who listen to rap have their culture, etc. Despite the obvious division of cultures however music is universal and ultimately brings people together. For me, I've explored a decent portion of the endless world of music and I have found that every genre has something to offer. I think it is important to be open minded musically and give everything a try before pushing it away.
Here I hope to explore the depths of some of the most legendary music and share what I learn with music lovers like myself.
